These throwbacks are a nod to the original style cap worn by the Buffalo Bisons in 1988.

I've been hunting for a true retro fitted for a while and this one nails that 1988 look. The 59Fifty construction feels solid and the dark navy is exactly what I wanted.
The navy on this fitted is deeper than the photos let on, which I actually prefer. 59Fifty sizing runs true, and the wool blend holds its shape instead of slouching after a few wears. Wore it to a doubleheader and it still looks crisp.
Finally got that retro 88 look I’ve been chasing, and the navy fabric has that deep, almost vintage shade that photographs exactly like the old photos. The 59fifty fit is spot on for my head, snug from the first wear without needing to stretch it out.
